1. Business customers only
Supply is available only to approved businesses, laboratories and qualifying research organisations. We may request identity, company, intended-use and compliance information and may refuse or close an account at our discretion.
2. Research-use restriction
All materials are supplied strictly for legitimate laboratory, analytical or scientific research. They are not medicines, food, cosmetics or consumer products and are not supplied for human or veterinary use, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, administration or consumption.
3. Buyer responsibility
The buyer must assess material suitability, hold required licences or permissions, provide competent personnel and comply with all applicable laws, import controls, workplace requirements, storage duties and disposal obligations. The buyer must not mislabel, misrepresent or market supplied materials for an unauthorised purpose.
4. Quotations and orders
Quotations are subject to availability and remain open only for the period stated. An order is accepted when confirmed by us in writing or by invoice. Minimum orders, lead times and payment terms may vary by account and specification.
5. Documentation and specifications
Batch documentation is provided only where stated, applicable or available. Research data and certificates describe the tested sample and do not create a warranty beyond the agreed specification.
6. Delivery, inspection and storage
Risk and title pass as stated on the relevant invoice or agreed trade terms. The buyer must inspect consignments promptly, report visible damage or discrepancies without delay, and store materials according to supplied requirements.
7. Returns and non-conformity
Returns require prior written authorisation. Temperature-sensitive, opened, custom, relabelled or compromised materials may not be returnable. Valid non-conformity claims will be assessed against the agreed specification and available chain-of-custody records.
8. Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, materials are supplied for professional research assessment, and Orion is not responsible for unauthorised use, onward claims, improper storage, modification or use outside the agreed purpose.
9. Suspension
We may withhold or cancel supply where compliance, payment, sanctions, end-use, reputational or regulatory concerns arise.
